  • Job Description
    1.     Team Leadership and Management:
    • Recruit, hire, and train sales representatives.

    4.     Customer Relationship Management:
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and accounts.
    • Address customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a timely and satisfactory manner.
    • Work to understand customer needs and preferences to tailor sales approaches.
    5.     Sales Forecasting and Reporting:
    • Provide accurate sales forecasts and reports to senior management.
    • Analyze sales data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
    6.     Training and Development:
    • Conduct training sessions to enhance the skills and product knowledge of sales team members.
    • Keep the team updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and product developments.
    7.     Collaboration and Communication:
    • Coordinate with marketing, product, and other relevant teams to ensure alignment of strategies.
    • Communicate company policies, procedures, and objectives to the sales team.
    8.     Budget Management:
    • Manage the sales budget, including expenses related to travel, events, and resources.
    9.     Performance Evaluation:
    • Conduct regular performance reviews and assessments of team members.
    • Recognize top performers and address underperformance through coaching and corrective actions.
    10.  Continuous Improvement:
    • Stay updated on industry trends, market changes, and advancements in sales techniques.
    • Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the sales team.

    8. Product Knowledge: Develop an in-depth understanding of the company's investment casting products, their features, benefits, and applications.

    10. Customer Support: Provide exceptional customer support, promptly addressing inquiries, concerns, and requests for information.
    11. Sales Presentations: Prepare and deliver persuasive sales presentations and proposals to potential clients, highlighting the value proposition of the company's products.
    12. Travel: Depending on the scope of the role, travel to meet clients, attend industry events, and represent the company in relevant forums.
    13. Sales Performance Analysis: Regularly assess sales performance, analyze results, and identify areas for improvement or adjustment in sales strategies.
    14. Relationship Building: Foster relationships with key stakeholders, decision-makers, and influencers within client organizations.
    15. Contract Management: Ensure accurate and timely contract administration, including documentation, terms, and renewals.
    16. Feedback Loop: Gather feedback from clients, incorporating their input to enhance products, services, and overall customer experience.
    17. Team Collaboration: If leading a sales team, provide leadership, coaching, and mentoring to guide the team towards meeting sales goals.

    • Bachelors Degree in engineering, business, marketing, sales or similar
    • Significant experience in selling engineering components or products to OEMs in India and abroad
    • Track record of closing enquiries and meeting sales targets
    • Experience in managing or leading a team even if not in a formal role
    • Clear communication and persuasion skills
    • Ability to analyse data, track sales metrics, and identify trends to either escalate or make informed decisions
    • Ability to creatively and efficiently solve problems
    • Basic technical proficiency and technical acumen in engineering products as well as proficiency in using modern CRM tools and software.
